Trucking Accidents

Despite increased safety procedures that are designed to reduce the frequency of truck accidents, a number of fatal accidents take place on a regular basis.  Such accidents often occur because drivers are over-tired and stressed, exceed the prescribed speed limit, drive under influence of drugs or alcohol, make blind spot turns, or encounter brake failures. Because trucks carry heavy loads and have tight deadlines to meet, the injuries caused as a result of an accident can be extremely serious. The owner, brake maker, and the manufacturer of a truck may be liable for damages and injuries caused in certain circumstances.
