Head and Spinal Injury
Head and spinal injuries are caused by accidents, falls, sports, aggressive acts, and negligence of others. These are injuries of a serious nature and may cause paralysis, a coma, concentration and memory problems, anxiety, depression, behavior changes, impaired speech and vision, a loss of senses, a concussion, and seizures. If a head or spinal injury is caused at work, the employer has to cover the medical expenses and loss of wages, and if it is caused as a result of medical negligence, the hospital or physician will be held liable. Claims for damages can include claims for economic and non-economic damages, loss of consortium, medical expenses, and rehabilitation costs.
