Domestic Violence

Domestic violence is classified as a criminal offense. When any member of a household acts in an abusive, forceful or threatening manner against another member of the same household, it is domestic violence. Domestic violence can consist of both physical and psychological abuse, and it often involves physical violence, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, intimidation, or threats of violence.
